i created a blog for f1 in Tamil for f1 lovers.

i want to say something about f1 . before i started i have a big question what is practical benefit of f1 race for all  . only technology improvement or car sales ? which is the benefit to common   man ?

Thank you for your interesting question and, as I know you can imagine, its not one I am normally asked.

I cannot speak for every man, and as I would suspect there is more than one reason for the existence of F1, so therefore more than one benefit, and of course, more than several detriments, real or imagined.

For me, the real benefit of F1 is the pure enjoyment and fascination with speed, of braver men than I overcoming fear and pushing to and beyond the limits of courage and knowledge; and the ability of man to create teams from individual people capable of infinite detail, care and ingenuity as car builders and track designers, creating the ultimate spectacle of visual beauty and awe far greater than any one of them alone could even imagine.

But in the end, you are either a "petrol-head" and you get enjoyment and release from watching car racing, or you don't.

In the end, I suppose its as simple as that.

For me its enjoyment and relaxation.  For them its achievement and attainment.
